After cutting my beard down to even it out I am very pleased with the growth especially the fullness. Not too excited with the greys but you can't win em' all!!! LOL Here are some recent pics. Have a Beardtastic Day!!!

 Hey Guys!

Just had to share some good eats with you! I didn't think Instagram should get ALL the fun!!!

I had the pleasure of  eating at a great BBQ Joint named, "Shorty's" I hugged the waitress before I left and told her she hasn't seen the last of me! LOL
BBQ has to be my favorite way to eat any type of meat. The ribs were finger licking good, the brisket was so tender and delicious and the BBQ sauce was on point!

 They also had 2 for o1 on beer so, that made it just about as close to heaven as I'm ever gonna get! LMAO IJK.

Hope I made you hungry!!! BBQ sounds good right about now doesn't it? BOL

The ULTIMATE BEARDED MAN

I had a little free time over the Easter weekend to do a little research on the Baddest Bearded Fellow....none other than the elusive BIG FOOT!

Yup! I'm a Big Foot admirer, he has the perfect life, out there in the wilderness hiding in trees, stealing food from unsuspecting campers, allowing his body hair to grow uncontrollably, scaring necking teenagers and the best part.....no one believes it's u because u don't exist! HA!

Big Foot or Sasquatch is an ape-like creature ranging between 6-10 feet tall. They are mostly sited in the Pacific Northwest region of North America and their covered in dark brown or dark reddish brown HAIR-NOT FUR!

One of my favorite shows to watch on Animal planet is "Finding Big Foot", it is quite entertaining although, they never quite FIND anything. The cast is hilarious and so serious about uncovering the truth about this primate.

Bald, Bearded, & Boozed

Tried some Rum last month but, I never posted the pics or told you what I thought about it,
shame on me, cause I like to share what I've drank and whether it was a good buy or not.

This Rum is called "Atlantico"it was sweet like the ripest plum I've ever tasted. It was very smooth and I chased it with Oceanspray CranApple. I think another great chaser would be Sprite, but it was definitely smooth enough to drink straight.

I'm usually not a Rum drinker but, I was convinced to try it by the guy in ABC Wine and Spirits who had set up a samples table. He had already sold me on the Rum because of it's taste but he sweetened the deal with this hat!


This was a picture of my beard last month before I shaved it down to even it out. Damn, I was almost SANTA Status!!!

It's Shaving Day...The Bald and the Beautiful!!!

It's about that time to neaten up my facial hair and get my Bowling Ball Status on!!!

I have to shave my head every two days or else I start feeling my stubble coming back. Now, don't get me wrong, it's not visible but "I" can feel it coming back and I'm really diggin' my Shaft status..."You Damn Right". I've been getting a lot of compliments from the ladies and I've got to admit I'm feelin' myself lately.


I've been using my straight razor to neaten up around my beard but, I use my Gillette Fusion to shave my head cause I don't wanna cut myself. I still use my wahl clippers too but, the feeling I get with that straight razor can't be beat.

Why is it that every time it gets cold here in Florida, we have an overwhelming craving for ice cream, frozen yogurt, frozen cups.....you know where I'm going with this!

Tuesday I stood in line for almost 20 minutes for some ice cups. Now, I wanna say up front, "It was damn well worth it!" The dude has been in business for over 20 years and he blends down the fruit and adds the syrup and did I mention he has over 50 flavors?!!! I'm just baffled at the fact that as soon as it breaks 60 degrees here we seem to by more cold edibles.

When our 100 plus degree summer rolls in, the Starbucks will be standing room only!
Yeah! Go figure! o_O

As you all know from reading my interesting posts...I affectionately call my wife Lady Luck. Well, she wasn't with me at my latest excursion to the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood Florida. I tried and failed miserably at "Planet Moolah", which is my favorite, "Double Diamond", and "The Wizard of Oz, which I've murdered two times before!

Could it be that my wife is my good luck charm? Or, could it be that it was a busy weekend here in South Florida with the Music Festival Downtown Miami, the Dade County Youth Fair, Jazz in the Gardens and a million other tourist attractions here. I heard that the Casino's rack up on weekends like this! I mean, nobody hit any jackpots the whole night!!!

Just when I thought there was no goodness in the world, a trip to the beach proved me wrong.

My facial skin regimen

Okay Bearded Fellows...

I know you're saying why the hell does a man have a skin regimen! LOL I am too! My wife is a makeup artist and she's always reading these books about skin and how to tighten pores and crap like that. So, I apparently have big pores on my nose and hyper-pigmentation on the sides of my face. Now, I'm using clarifying cleansers and skin tightening astringents, but I hate to admit they're actually working!

We wash our faces every night with soaps. I use whatever is in the bathroom. My wife really frowns upon that, she'd rather me use some organic Neutrogena stuff. I do use the witch hazel astringent and after that I lotion my face with Aveeno. BTW, I've got another post about Aveeno shaving products. I'm really noticing a difference in my skin...NO JOKE...I'm not breaking out every five minutes either. I've been putting that lotion on my bald head too!

Children's Pedia Sure?

Hey Dude, I had no idea that there was an Ensure/Boost type drink for kids!!! Where the hell have I been?, under a freakin' rock!
I call Lady Luck and I say, babe I'm going to Walmart, you need something? She says, "Yeah, get the kids pediasure." I'm like, okay. Not having the slightest idea of what that is.
I go into Walmart's children product area and I'm looking for pediasure and to my surprise, they have pedia everything! There's pedia-lyte, pedia-quil (a funny knock off for children's Nyquil) and low and behold....PEDIASURE! It's like a 5hr energy drink for toddlers or something....I don't know! I Do Know, they had a lot of it, different flavors like: Banana, Vanilla, chocolate, and Strawberry.

I took a pic of it so u guys will know what to look for......they even have a knock off for this too, it's called "Parents Choice-Nutritional Shake" For 3 bucks less, I'm def going with those next time!

P.S: Can't tell my wife that I'm buying the generic brand cause she thinks the kids arms are gonna fall off because of lack of fiber!

Aveeno For Men?!!

Aveeno has some pretty awesome products to use for your face before and after you shave.
I've been on a slight skin regimen lately because I've noticed a few breakouts and I want to look as debonair as Billy Dee Williams or Denzel Washington so, I went on the hunt for a few items to make that possible.

I've been using the Aveeno Therapeutic shaving gel for about 2 weeks and let me tell you, a little goes a long way. It really moisturizes your skin well and the best part, It doesn't have a scent! (I really hate scented stuff, except for cologne)
The Aveeno After Shave Lotion is superb! I've tried many after shaves in my life but this by far is the best! It gives me that, just left the barber feel. It's soothing and kind of coats your face with a barrier of moisture that feels so good I can't even begin to tell ya. Ofcourse, you know Aveeno is natural and dermatologist approved so, the products are Grade A. The after shave has many ingredients to help saturate and repair the skin but the one that stood out to me was Oatmeal. I know my mom used oatmeal on many of our skin irritations growing up and it worked great!

Go ahead and try this one fellas, I give it two thumbs up and a toe! LOL

Gillette Fusion Proglide Power vs. GFP w/o Pwr

Check this out! Recently I decided to cut all my hair off and I began to do research on the best tools for maintaining the job. My wife's bald uncle told me that he uses the "Gillette Fusion Proglide" however, he didn't say that there were several proglides. I ended up choosing the more expensive proglide which runs by a 'AAA battery'. 

When I initially started shaving my head with the Power Proglide I felt the vibration and I thought, WOW!!! I'm getting the closest shave possible! My head is gonna feel like my babies butt cheek, and it did for the most part. Then, her uncle surprised me with the regular proglide and I was thankful because he bought me extra blades as well! Tee Hee Hee. Now, I could really get my shave on. I waited until a little shadow appeared which was about 48 hrs. later and pulled out the shaving cream. I started shaving the sides of my head first going against my hairs natural laying pattern and I soon completed one side of my huge head and felt it. Smooth as a bowling ball!

What is the moral of this post you ask?! Save your money and go with the REGULAR NON-BATTERY OPERATED proglide. I wasted an extra $10 bucks just to FEEL the vibration. LOL

I can't wait until my beard has the thickness, length and sheer splendor of his. I've recently trimmed my beard down so it can grow back evenly and healthier than last time and Brian is def my inspiration.
