Good Evening all my bearded brothers around the world.

Today I'm gonna share with you one of my top 3 beard balms.

• Grave Before Shave is a high quality handcrafted beard product made right here in the good ole USA. Using top quality oils like Jojoba, Pure Apricot, and Sweet Almond great for use on the beard and skin. 

I would say the balm has a medium hold. It tames your beard and keeps those flyaway hairs in check. I also noticed my beard looks healthier and I didn't have any itching or any dry spots.

My Nightly Beard Routine using Sky Organics

Are you doing what it takes at night to nourish your beard properly?

I have a lot of guys asking me what do I do at night with my beard. This can be a very tricky answer.

I'll start by saying, every beard is different in shape, size, and texture. So, what may be good for me might not be good for you.

My nightly routine is a three step process. It includes oils, butter and balm. This is something I've been doing for over a year or so, and for me the results are awesome! 

The beard oil that I use is a combination of 100% Castor Oil, Jojoba Oil, Argan Oil, and Sweet Almond Oil. All of the oils are from the same company, Sky Organics. I've learned that their oils work best with my skin and hair. 

The butter I use is also from Sky Organics. Sky Organics Mango Butter is excellent for nourishing your skin. It gives your skin that healthy look that we all want; At the same time it keeps you hair soft and manageable.

The balm that I use varies simply because I have a huge assortment to choose from. The biggest reason I'm using the balm is for styling and sealing purposes. 

I prefer a nice smelling balm, and it has to be lightweight. I don't want my beard to be weighed down...that's just me being me.

How I apply the products:

Once I finish showering and my beard is damp I apply the oil, then the mango butter, and lastly, the balm. I comb my beard how I normally do (with a large tooth comb or pick) and that's all folks.

The following morning my beard is still moisturized and soft. The main goal for your beard and it's routine is for you to be as consistent as possible.

Strongback Beard Oil | Cutlass Review

Hey guys today I'm gonna be sharing my thoughts with you today about Cutlass Beard Oil.

We all know the importance of using a beard oil, I'm always eager to review beard oils simply because there are so many oils out there to choose from.
I often get asked what is the best beard oil to use. I gave that question a lot of thought and to be honest there is not a good or bad oil. You have to find what works for you. Some oils are heavier than others, some absorb quicker than others, some smell great and others don't... you get the point.

Cutlass sent me a their Strongback Beard Oil. This oil is very nice. The fragrance was on point and the texture it had a great feel when it came to the thickness of the oil.
Strongback is the newest scent from Cutlass when I opened up the bottle I immediately smelled hints of peppermint also a cedar wood aroma with a hint of citrus. I couldn't wait to apply this oil to my beard.

The Strongback scent also had some awesome ingredients such as Coconut oil, Jojoba oil, Tea Tree oil and more.
To lightly coat a beard my size it took about 6 drops of the oil. The oils all worked very well together. Through out my day I didn't have any itching and my beard looked healthy with a pleasant sheen all day. I will absolutely purchase the oil again. It works like a oil and moisturizer all in one bottle.

SheaMoisture Men's Maracuja and Shea Oils Beard Products

Today is a really good day for a guy with a beard. One of the top companies in the hair care market has formulated four extremely awesome products for our beards. The beard wash, detangler, beard oil, and the beard balm.

Let me start by saying of these products are free of  Parabens, Phthalates, Propylene Glycol, Mineral Oil, Sulfates, and Animal Testing. The Beard Wash is clear and has a thick, rich consistency. I have used the wash several times and I'll be the first to say its fantastic. It took a little over a dime sized amount to cover a beard like mine. It lathered nicely and smells great. The wash didn't strip my beard at all, it left my beard feeling soft and manageable. I would totally recommend this product to you guys to check out.  

For you guys that have a hard time combing through your beard, Shea Moisture has the solution. The Beard Detangler is a dream product. I use this product two different ways because it works like a leave conditioner as well. The first way I use it is right after I wash my beard. I leave the beard damp and the apply the detangler. Your beard will automatically soften as it becomes more easy to comb. The second way is when your on go and really don't wanna use a heavy product you can apply the detangler as a "Leave In" and your ready to go. It doesn't leave a film over your beard and it's very fluffy and Santa-Like.....trust me, the ladies love it!

The Beard Oil is the heavier side and coats the beard nicely. However, the oil isn't as greasy as most beard oils I've used in the past. I noticed less beard itch that is a huge plus. Overall, this oil moisturizes and softens the beard while adding a little sheen.

The last product I'm gonna talk about is the Beard Balm. When I first opened up this product I was thinking it wasn't gonna be a good product because it looked brittle and cracked up in pieces. I had never seen a beard balm look like that before! Once I rubbed through the balm it felt soft but not as soft as others. I was actually thinking of whipping it myself to make more creamy. I even thought I mistankingly bought a bad bottle. To my surprise, even though it looked a little rough, the balm still performed very well. It shaped my beard very nicely, also giving it great definition. Throughout the day my beard smelled great and was very moisturized and healthy looking. 

My all around score on the Shea Moisture Maracuja Beard Products is 10 out of 10. Not often does a company make a complete line of products and all of them work well. 

The tips I would give for shopping this line are:

1. Shop for the beard that you have. Meaning shorter beards would benefit more from using oils. While bigger beards can used oils and balms. 

2. Don't feel like you have to get all four products. 

I would say the must haves are the Beard Wash, Beard Detangler, and your choice of Oil or Balm.

Monthly Subscription Box For Big and Tall Guys

Are you tired of going to the mall and going from store to store just to find nothing? For a guy that can be very frustrating because we are simple creatures. We like to walk in, purchase and walk out.

Face Mane African Black Soap - Beard and Face Wash

Hey guys have you ever wished you could wash your beard and face with the same product without thinking you're gonna be punished? Well guys, today I'm gonna be introducing you to Face and Mane African Black Soap Face and Beard Wash.

African Black Soap has been around for many years. The soap is well known for all that it does for our skin. People that suffer from Acne, Eczema, even bumps and oily skin will definitely benefit from the use of Black Soap.

When I learned about this product I was very eager to give it a try. I was excited because it's a two in one process. Less hassle is always a plus for us men. Not to mention, the other great natural ingredients that are found in the product such as Argan Oil, Tea Tree, Hempseed and Jojoba. The power of this ingredients list goes on and on.


I have been using this wash now for a while, twice a week as a matter of fact and its amazing. The fragrance is the best thing I have smelled in a beard product in a while. Its a earthy smell. It kinda reminds me of a Botanical shop or a shop that sells incense. It has a black power vibe too! In all honesty; I don't know how else to explain the smell but I love it.

The lather is perfect. My beard was soft as cotton after my wash. The fragrance lasts a good while without becoming over powering. I have noticed less itching and my wife said that my facial skin has gotten softer since I've started using the Face and Mane Face and Beard Wash.

If you're looking for a product that is not only great for facial hair but, it's also awesome for the skin, look no further! American Stylish Beverly Hills knows what your skin needs and what your beard wants.

The Maui Trance Beard Wash for sensitive skin has an amazing tropical scent. With a dampened face I applied about a half dollar sized amount to my hands, then distributed the wash through my beard. There was no lather but, the product was very creamy and coated my strands well. I let it stay on my beard for the duration of my shower then I rinsed my beard thoroughly. My beard felt very soft and manageable. I was able to comb through the strands without experiencing any tangles. This product moisturizes very well on it's own. The skin under my beard felt refreshed and there was no itching.

The Havana Nights Luxurious Beard Oil smelled incredible. I've been receiving compliments on the scent of my beard from my wife and I couldn't be happier. "A happy wife, A happy life". LOL

This oil comes in 1 fl.oz. and it's a rich oil so a little will definitely go a long way. I personally like a thicker oil because of my high porosity hair. My beard seems to suck up oils as quickly as I apply them and this oil lasts all day. The Rum Rico Luxurious Beard Oil was just as fantastic. American Stylish Beverly Hills really knows how to capture the essence of their fragrances and these scents make me feel like I'm on a tropical island with the finest cigar and the longest, healthiest beard. (Well, a fella can dream huh?)

I've really started taking UV protection seriously after having the worst sunburn of my life this past summer. Watch your Beard Grow with This Great Serum

Let's be honest bearded brothers there isn't a beard fairy that waves a wand and your beard magically grows overnight.


Today I will be talking about a beard serum made by Beard and Company. This would be my second review for this company and once again, I'm very satisfied.

I trimmed my beard a few weeks ago making things looks nice and neat, at the same time that's when I started using the Beard Growth Serum. With ingredients like jojoba oil, argan oil, almond oil, and others it's a very well put together serum. It's a lightweight serum it smells wonderful and it lasts throughout the day without being too oily and shiny it's a perfect formula.

My beard is enjoying the serum. The growth I have noticed lately is crazy. In my Youtube videos I always say; you should find a product that works best for you. I truly believe this works best for me and my growth journey.

Every night I use the serum when I exit the shower and my beard is still damp. Rubbing it through my beard making sure I reach the skin underneath the beard. Not only did I notice an increase in length but the itching and shedding slowed down a great deal as well. That's a huge plus in the bearded community.

I've had the pleasure of trying out a new company for you guys and I'm super excited to tell you about their products. 

Noir Classic is a company that prides itself on vegan, paraben, dye, and detergent free products. The website actually says, Noir Classic only uses ingredients that you can pronounce. I'm so happy about that because; beneath my facial hair is skin and I want to keep that skin as healthy as possible.

Noir Classic really takes into consideration the struggles of men of color. Our facial hair can be curly, kinky, thick, straight, thin, dry, oily and just malnourished. I've been using their POMADE for 2 weeks now and I can tell you that it's very nourishing. It soothes my hair and my skin. My beard looks and stays moisturized and healthy.
I apply the pomade every evening after a hot shower. My beard is not a trend it's a LIFESTYLE.

There is a demanding dedication needed to tackle this man size challenge. Your beard defines you, so you want to make sure it's looking groomed to perfection at all times. With that being said, you have to find what works best for your beard and facial skin.
It's gonna be a tough task simply because there are thousands of companies out there promoting beard care products today but choosing the right brand is key.

First, decide if you want to be on the natural team or the anything goes team. LOL I'm proud to say I'm team natural! I received the Strength Serum, Repair Serum, and the Beard Water.  I've been using these products for about 3 1/2 weeks now. Immediately after using the "Repair and Strength Serum" I saw and amazingly cut back on breakage and slit ends. My beard has a healthier look as well.  Some of the oils in this serum are Jojoba Oil, Vitamin E and Argan Oil.

The Beard Water, I love this stuff! The Beard Water is a quick way to freshen up your beard without using oil, butters, or pomade. You basically spray and go. Its amazing guys trust me.
